Flávia Pascoal is a chemical analyst. 

She works in the industry of chocolate and margarine.

She graduated in ESAC (Agrarian School of Coimbra) in Biotechnology (2000-2001).

She participated in several lectures to promote the course she was taking and developed several research projects about analysis of bacteria in food.

She won a prize for the best news on food testing for the magazine "food on the table" in 2004.

Nowadays she works at the company Costa LDA in the department of Food Analysis, analyzing the chocolate and margarine produced in this company.

Her researches are mostly about food analysis, but she’s a professional very interested in other areas of study like transgenic food, medicines analysis and cloning.

She also wrote a book “What we eat”, in 2009 that was a book of success.

 My name is Flávia Pascoal, i am 20 years old and i hold a BSc degree in Biotechnology since July 2012 and I’m now looking for my first job. 

During the three years of graduation, I did several research projects on the treatment of diseases and presented them to the school community. 

 I was always a dedicated student, engaged and interested in learning more. 

Always read many articles and I would like to be informed about the news and about evolution, especially science. 

I also participated in lectures on various topics like cloning, transgenic food, genetically modified organisms (GMO) etc. Also arouse the opportunity to be in Sydney for 6 months studying at Erasmus. Before going to Australia I took a course in English / French, so at this point it's very easy for me to communicate with foreigners. 

Last summer I did a crash course in pharmacy, which is my favorite desktop and to which I dedicated myself during my years of study. So I think I will be an asset in your pharmacy, my dedication will not missing. Looking forward to hearing from you.
