Flávia Pascoal is a chemical analyst.
She works in the
industry of chocolate and margarine.
She graduated in ESAC (Agrarian School of Coimbra) in
Biotechnology (2000-2001).
She participated in several lectures to promote the
course she was taking and developed several research projects about analysis of
bacteria in food.
She won a prize for the best news on food testing for
the magazine "food on the table" in 2004.
Nowadays she works at the company Costa LDA in the
department of Food Analysis, analyzing the chocolate and margarine produced in
this company.
Her researches are mostly about food analysis, but
she’s a professional very interested in other areas of study like transgenic
food, medicines analysis and cloning.
She also wrote a book “What we eat”, in 2009 that was
a book of success.
